We've just released a major update for Atuel!

Our surrealist documentary game about the Atuel river and the climate crisis in Argentina now includes the following:

• Localization to 7 new languages! - Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese!

• Compatibility with Playstation, Xbox, and Switch Pro controllers! It also runs great on Steam Deck.

• Much better performance on lower-end computers!

We've been working on this update on-and-off for some time. Atuel is a project that is very dear to our hearts and we have always wanted to  make it more accessible so that more people around the world may experience it. It is a final gesture of gratitude towards the game and its players, our way to say goodbye as we shift our attention to other projects.

This update will also release for free on Steam and Google Play on June 30th.

If you have played Atuel throughout the years and have enjoyed your experience with the game, please leave Atuel a review here on itch with your thoughts. 

We love to hear from you and good reviews here and on Steam are the best way to support the project.

(Having said all this, we may continue localizing Atuel to more languages and adding other quality-of-life features in the future.  The game will continue to be exhibited at festivals this year in countries such as Switzerland, Brazil, and Spain.)

¡Acabamos de publicar una actualización muy grande para Atuel!

Nuestro juego documental surrealista sobre el río Atuel y la crisis climatica en el desierto de Cuyo ahora incluye:

• ¡Localización a 7 nuevos idiomas! - ¡Portugués, francés, italiano, alemán, ruso, chino simplificado y japonés!

• ¡Compatibilidad con controles de Playstation, Xbox y Switch Pro! - También funciona muy bien en Steam Deck.

• ¡Mejor rendimiento y compatibilidad con computadoras de baja gama!

Hace rato que venimos trabajando en esta actualización en nuestro tiempo libre.  Atuel es un proyecto al que le tenemos muchísimo cariño y siempre quisimos que fuese más accesible, para que más personas en otras partes del mundo pudiesen jugarlo. Esta actualización es un último agradecimiento hacia el juego y sus jugadores, una manera de decirles adios después de estos años juntos.

Esta actualización también se publicará en Steam y Google Play el 30 de junio.
